Welcome to wild and wonderful West Virginia! We've been coming here since we were little. In the summer pitch a tent at Blackwater Falls State Park and make sure to check out Lindy Point Overlook - the view is insane!! BTW beware of the bears ;) If you get tired of campfire food, stroll into town and hit up Sirrani's eccletic pizza joint. In the winter it's fun to rent/borrow a big log cabin (hot tub included), get snowed in (with a keg of beer & a few bottles of wine) and go snowboarding at nearby Canaan Valley Resort!!

Of course the best time to go is during MB Swim Week (duh), which is usually mid-July. Make sure to grab brunch at The Raleigh (atmosphere rocks!) and make dinner reservations at Prime 112 - one of our fav. steak restaurants. If you like to wake up early, be sure to bring your skateboard, cruise down ocean front walkway for some fantastical people watching.
Ah - we LOVE this place!! Cerveza, cerveza, cerveza! Head into town, Playa del Carmen, and haggle with the street vendors, eat yummy meehico food and who knows maybe you'll end up buying a puppy after one too many cerveza's (LOL). Check out "Turtle Bay" aka Akumal Bay for some fun in the sun. If you want to swim with a GIANT sea turtle you MUST go here! The reef rocks and after snorkeling there's a bar to relax at and of course mas cervezas!! Soooo if you want an adventure we found this family run "tour" of 3 cenotes. It's located across from the Barcelo Resort about 1/8 mi south on the main highway. You will see a guy that usally sits on a bucket who'll drive you back to the cenotes. We have our own gear and they allow us to self explore the grounds- by far the best cenotes in the area!!
